I hate to say this, but you are making the right decision. The LSAT means so much in law school admissions (TOO MUCH), and those who take the prep course do better. On the other hand, there's a school for you somewhere. If you've got a dream of what you want to do, don't let the law school admissions process distract you! Good luck!
Isn't it messed up that these tests are made so you have to take an expensive, time consuming prep course? It's supposed to show your merit but part of what it's really showing is if you have enough money to pay for it and to not have to work so much that you don't have time for it. I'm not a fan of standardized tests.
That's cool about becoming an immigration lawyer, though.
